Hello and welcome to Jasmine B. Gunter's digital directing portfolio. Jasmine is an early-career director with a BA in Theatre Performance and a minor in Dance and Spanish. Jasmine recently spent the 2017 year as an Artist in Residence where she taught playwriting and acting for the Berkshire Theatre Group and as a Movement and Viewpoints Teaching Artist for the Redhouse Arts Center in Syracuse. Some of her most impressive credits include a membership into the Stage Directors Choreographers Foundation Observership class of 2017-2018, assistant director for Nina Simone: Four Women (Arena Stage), assistant director for Beauty and the Beast (Berkshire Theatre Group), assistant director for The Luckiest People (Actors Theatre of Charlotte in conjunction with the NNPN), and director for Reasons to be pretty (Winthrop University). Fall of 2018, she directed in the 24 Hour Plays: Nationals in NYC. Currently, she is working as the Directing/Casting intern for Seattle Repertory Theatre's 2018-2019 season.
