Welcome to Jasmine B. Gunter's digital directing portfolio. Jasmine is an early-career director with a BA in Theatre Performance and a minor in Dance and Spanish. Jasmine has worked as an Artist in Residence for the Berkshire Theatre Group where she taught playwriting and acting and as a Movement and Viewpoints Teaching Artist for the Redhouse Arts Center in Syracuse. Some of her most impressive directing credits include director for Intimate Apparel (SUNY Brockport/Geva Theatre Center), assistant director for Nina Simone: Four Women (Arena Stage), assistant director for In the Heights (Seattle Rep), assistant director for Quixote Nuevo (Hartford Stage/Huntington Theatre Co.) director for Reroute (24 Hour Plays: Nationals), and director for Reasons to be pretty (Winthrop University). Currently, she is serving as the Artistic Apprentice (Directing) for Hartford Stage 2019-2020 season.
